TubeTurbo privacy

Updated October 23, 2026

TubeTurbo keeps speeds, settings, and frame screenshots on your device. The extension does not collect them, and it does not download videos.

Data stays on the device

Speeds, per-channel memory, and frame screenshots are stored in the browser on that device. Kitly Apps cannot see them. Uninstalling TubeTurbo removes that local storage from the browser profile.

No collection

TubeTurbo does not collect what you watch, personal data, or browsing history. It does not sell or share data. There is no analytics in the extension and no remote code. TubeTurbo does not download videos.

Permissions

TubeTurbo requests storage, clipboardWrite, and *.youtube.com. Each permission is used only for the reason below.

storage
Saves speeds, settings, and the speed you last used on each channel in the browser on this device.
clipboardWrite
Copies a frame screenshot to the clipboard when you choose copy.
*.youtube.com
Host access is limited to YouTube. TubeTurbo does not run on other sites, and it does not download videos.

When this site opens

TubeTurbo opens this website after you install it, and again after a major or minor update, so you can see how to start and what changed. Those visits do not include what you watch.

Opening those pages is a normal visit to this website. TubeTurbo does not send what you watch, frame screenshots, or Video Insights with the visit. It does not download videos. Cookies and measurement on the website are described in the site privacy policy. The extension itself has no analytics and no remote code.
