For pins you have rights to use. Not affiliated with Pinterest. Saved files stay on your device. The extension does not collect them.
Data stays on the device
A bulk selection and settings stay in the browser on that device. The image, GIF, MP4, or ZIP is saved to your computer when you ask. Kitly Apps cannot see those files.
No collection
PinHarbor does not collect the pins you save or personal data. It does not sell or share data. There is no analytics in the extension and no remote code.
Permissions
PinHarbor requests activeTab, downloads, and storage. Each permission is used only for the reason below.
- activeTab
- Reads the pin you are viewing when you ask to save it. It does not watch other tabs.
- downloads
- Saves the original image, GIF, MP4, or a ZIP to your computer when you ask.
- storage
- Keeps a bulk selection and settings in the browser on this device.
When this site opens
PinHarbor opens this website after you install it, and again after a major or minor update, so you can see how to start and what changed. Those visits do not include the pins.
- After install, PinHarbor opens the welcome page.
- After a major or minor update, PinHarbor opens the what's-new page.
Opening those pages is a normal visit to this website. PinHarbor does not send pins or files with the visit. Cookies and measurement on the website are described in the site privacy policy. The extension itself has no analytics and no remote code.
